For 300-800 guest celebrations

Plan a big wedding without a dozen spreadsheets

Multi-day, multi-event weddings run on three things: who is invited to what, who is actually coming, and who gave what. GetJoyBox puts the full schedule, per-event RSVPs, the seating chart, and zero-fee cash gifts on one free page - for the sangeet and the walima, the tea ceremony and the banquet, the traditional and the white wedding.

The suite

Everything a 700-guest wedding actually needs

Every feature below is live today - no waitlists, no paid tiers.

A real multi-event schedule

Mehndi, sangeet, ceremony, reception - publish the full schedule on one page, keep some events invite-only, and collect a per-event Coming / Can't reply from every guest.

Household invitations

Invite the whole family with one personal link - and get one reply that covers everyone in the household. No chasing five cousins for five separate answers.

A guest list built for 700 names

Import your spreadsheet, tag who is invited to which event, and export a caterer-ready list per event - RSVP status, meal choices, and structured dietary counts included.

Seating for 40-80 tables

Draw the banquet hall, place the tables, and seat every guest by name in the free web-based floor planner - guests get a read-only map on their phone.

White-label e-invites

Send invitations under your own name with your card design - or copy each guest's personal invite link and share it over WhatsApp, the channel your family actually uses.

Cash funds with a 0% platform fee

Guests contribute by Interac e-Transfer (or your local rail) directly to you. No platform cut on cash gifts - what your guests give is what you keep.

A gift ledger for cash customs

Record shagun, hongbao, busta, and envelopes as they arrive - who gave what, at which event - with thank-you tracking and CSV export. It records the gifts; the money goes straight to you.

Built for your traditions

Cash customs come first

For most large cultural weddings the gift IS cash - the registry is secondary. GetJoyBox treats it that way: zero-fee cash funds and a gift ledger for the envelopes, with a product registry only if you want one.

South Asian (Hindu and Sikh)

Haldi, mehndi, sangeet, ceremony, reception - five events, five invite lists. Shagun and salami land in the gift ledger with the giver and event, so the thank-you list stays honest at 600 guests.

Pakistani and Muslim weddings

Separate guest lists for the nikkah and the walima, dholki nights kept invite-only, and salami recorded as it arrives - one page carries the whole week.

Nigerian and West African

The traditional wedding and the white wedding each get their own schedule entry and RSVP list. Registries are an established part of the celebration here - run yours alongside the cash customs, and log the spray after.

Chinese and Vietnamese

Cash first: hongbao and li xi are the gift. Lead with a 0% cash fund and use the gift ledger as the banquet's red-envelope book - a product registry is optional, not the point.

Korean

Chukuigeum - congratulatory money handed over at the entrance book. The gift ledger is that book, digital: giver, amount, and thank-you status in one place.

Italian

La busta at the reception. Record every envelope in the ledger, and give faraway guests a 0% cash fund if they would rather give before the day.

Lebanese and Middle Eastern

Nukoot recorded per giver and per event, plus a cash fund relatives abroad can use without a fee skimming the gift on the way.

Jewish

Orthodox weddings regularly pass 400 guests. Separate ceremony and reception lists, kosher meal counts per event, and household replies for large families.

The 0% math

What a platform fee costs at 500 guests

Large cash-first weddings move real money: a 500-guest celebration in a shagun, hongbao, or busta tradition commonly sees $30,000-$80,000 in cash gifts. On a platform that takes a 2.5-5% cut of cash funds, that is $750-$4,000 gone before it reaches you.

GetJoyBox cash funds take 0%. Guests send by Interac e-Transfer in Canada - or bank transfer and other direct rails elsewhere - straight to you. The arithmetic is short: 0% of $80,000 is $0.

FAQ

Large-wedding questions

How much does a 500 person wedding cost?

Cost scales per guest. In Canada, banquet-style receptions commonly run $150-$350 per guest once venue, catering, and rentals are counted, so a single-event 500-person wedding typically lands between $75,000 and $175,000 - and each additional event (a sangeet, a walima, a tea ceremony) adds its own venue and catering line. The free GetJoyBox wedding budget calculator builds a line-item budget from your guest count and city.

Can I invite different guests to different events?

Yes. Each event in your schedule has its own invite list - invite 700 to the reception and 150 to the ceremony. Public events appear on your page for everyone; invite-only events are shown only to the guests invited to them, and a guest opening their personal invite link sees an RSVP form listing exactly the events on their invitation.

How do guests RSVP without an account?

Guests never need an account. They open your link (or their personal invitation link), tap Coming or Can't make it for each event, add a meal choice and dietary needs, and submit. One personal link can also cover a whole household in a single reply.

Can both families manage the guest list?

Yes. Add co-hosts with full edit access - both families can manage the guest list, the schedule, the seating chart, and the registry from their own accounts, free.

Do you support shagun, hongbao, or cash envelope tracking?

Yes. The gift ledger records offline cash gifts - shagun, salami, hongbao, li xi, busta, nukoot, cheques, even gold - with the giver, the amount, and the event, plus thank-you tracking and CSV export. It records the gifts; the money itself goes directly to you.

Is GetJoyBox free for an 800-guest wedding?

Yes. There are no guest caps, no paid tiers, and no platform fee on cash funds - the guest list, multi-event RSVP, seating planner, and e-invites are free at any size.
